Japan's Aso says G7 will discuss macroeconomic policy, structural reform
Japan's finance minister ahead of the 20-21 G7 summit 19 May 2016
- tax evasion also on the agenda
- has already had talks with French fin min Sapin and exchanged views on both economies
Aso also says there is no change in govt stance on sales tax hike as planned next year, barring big economic shock or large earthquake.
We can start to expect a ramp-up in the rhetoric headlines as G7 delegates arrive for the free drinks and food. Throw in a bit of sight-seeing too.
