After all the recent calls from some members of Merkel’s centre right coalition for a ‘Grexit’, it appears that senior officials are now becoming increasingly nervous of the more wider geopolitical risks of such a move to bring Greece out of the Eurozone, so we could be about to see some softening of Germany’s stance in an effort to avoid further destabilization in the Southern European states
