- current hospitalizations rise by 16 to 2,232, record high for second day in a row
Texas coronavirus cases rise by 7,404 on Monday to 332,434 total
- deaths rise by 62 to 4,020 total
- current hospitalizations fall by 23 to 10,569 total on Monday, down from record high of 10,658 on Saturday
The slight slowing in new cases is a welcome development.
