I don't see how he has any other choice going forward. The center-right coalition is surely not an option anymore for Salvini.
Update: Salvini now says that Berlusconi's Forza Italia party cannot be a Lega ally. That pretty much confirms they won't revert back to the center-right coalition. He says that they will instead propose with Five Star Movement on a change to the current electoral law.
