All EU countries would need to agree to extending Article 50

Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaitė suggested a no deal Brexit would be better than the uncertainty of extending Article 50 for a prolonged period.

"The more we will extend any kind of uncertainty the worse it will be for both sides. In that case it's beter to finish this sooner even with no deal, or with any kind of deal, because I know even in worst case scenario we will start immediately to negotiate with UK on sepcial measures, it will take a few months," she told NBC political editor Darren McCaffrey.

It sounds like she will fall in line but a threat of an EU member veto on an extension might get the UK side moving towards a compromise more quickly.
