Oh no.... some red flags again...

Despite comments of hope on a NAFTA deal from both the US and Mexico (Kudlow was speaking positively earlier), when there is "hope" there is trouble. The recent comment from the Mexican economic Minister Guajargo today, throws up the "hope" red flag.

He says:

  • Still working towards a NAFTA deal with the US, and says all partners must show some flexibility in talks.

When you talk for so long on the same things, you wonder if the "flexibility" is there and will ever be there.

Let's face it, Mexico is a big topic for Pres. Trump with regard to the border and trade. He ran on the promise that Mexico will pay for the wall. It does not look that Mexico will pay a dime for construction of the wall, but the price to pay (in the eyes of Trump) will be in the NAFTA deal. That is how Mexico will "pay" for the wall.

If Pres. Trump is flexible, does he win? Will he accept that? There is a big red flag in the comment for me.
