For some reason, a group at Colorado State University — which is nowhere near the Atlantic ocean — make predictions about the US hurricane season every year. And despite a lousy track record, they continue to get attention. Sounds like they have a future in markets.
This year, they expect a milder season with 10 storms and a 42% chance that at least one major storm makes landfall. Sell oil!
