Further comments on the day by China premier Li Keqiang
- China is a responsible investor in the euro
- Yuan internationalisation is a long-term process
This is more of a politically appeasing comment more than anything else as German chancellor Merkel is visiting Beijing at the moment. But yeah, the reassurance at least provides some macro backdrop confidence to the euro in the grand scheme of things.
But it's probably not going to change the near-term outlook still.
