Further comments by China's commerce ministry in a statement
- China will fight till the end if US insists on unilateral protectionism
- China is willing to pay any cost and firmly fight back
- Will adopt new retaliatory measures and resolutely defend country's interest
Pretty much reiterating the same rhetoric over the past few days. As mentioned, China will only announce their retaliatory measures once the US firms up on their additional $100 bn tariffs (they are the reactionary party in all of this). Otherwise, expect more verbal spat to continue in the coming days/over the weekend.
