More UK: BCC downgrades 2018 GDP growth forecast to 1.1% (from 1.3% previously)

Again via Reuters, this from the British Chambers of Commerce latest economic growth forecast

• 1.1 % for 2018, from a prior 1.3% prediction
• 2019 to be at 1.3%, prior forecast 1.4%

Citing:

• "The changes to our forecast indicate that the UK economy is in for a testing period, with persistent uncertainty and the possibility of a disorderly EU exit increasingly weighing on the UK's growth prospects"

At 1.3% that would put growth at its worst since 2008-09's recession
