Speaking on TV to the corruption allegations from the Israel police

As the Israel police accuse PM Netanyahu of corruption and accepting up to 1M shekels in goods, he responds by saying:

  • Nothing will come of cases against him
  • The police recommendations against him are baseless
  • I will continue to lead Israel responsibly and faithfully

Meanwhile the police are saying:

  • Netanyahu should be charged over alleged bribery cases
  • There is enough evidence to indict for bribery, fraud and breach of trust in 2 separate cases
  • Estimate Netanyahu received one million shekels in goods
  • Milchan gave Netanyahu 750,000 shekels in goods
  • James Packer gave 250,000 shekels in goods
  • Evidence that Arnon Milchan committed bribery

A final decision on whether Mr Netanyahu should face charges will come down to the attorney general's office.
