60 new cases reported on Sunday for the preceding 24 hours, which is a big jump in New Zealand. NZ has contained the spread very well in comparison to other countries.
Thus a "60" result is all the more of a shock.
NZ's largest city, Auckland, was due to see a wind back in some restrictions today, Monday 11 October 2021. This is now very much in doubt.
