New Zealand Food Prices for September: 0.0% m/m (prior was 0.7%)

Author: Eamonn Sheridan | Category: News

Unchanged on the month.

An inflation indicator for New Zealand. NZD off a few tics on the data. The reasoning being inflation looks contained so its not gonna stop the RBNZ from easing further if they wish.
I wouldn't get too carried away with the data though:
  • its not core inflation
  • inflation is not a problem for the RBNZ now anyway
