The calm before the storm………it seems as if the world is holding its breath ahead of the `vitally important and hugely significant` NFP number later today. Even the ECB and the BOE dare not make a move in case this number has a rogue characteristic attached to it!
Tell you the truth people, after having sat through years and years of this ridiculous event, I know – and you know – (in a whisper..) that all the predictions are just guesses, nothing more than that. That is not to say that you are not informed players, rather to say that I KNOW , that no amount of analysis can be guaranteed to come within 25k of the number – and don`t even get me started on the revisions….
The most important question when ascertaining the significance of an event is, what will the world of Forex look like 10 minutes after the publication? We all know the answer to that – exactly as obscure and delightfully full of conflicting opinions as it is now! But at least it will have cleared the air……and we can then start to fret about next month`s NFP !!!
My prediction by the way – based on absolutely nothing is FLAT……..good luck people, and don`t risk the house, remember – few will be able to tell you just what the number was this time next week!
