The index is closing near the lows for the day having pared earlier gains posted following the buoyant mood in Wall St overnight. But all that is starting to dissipate now as we move towards European trading as US Treasury yields are beginning to fall off, with 10-year yields close to testing the key 3% handle.
The turnaround in sentiment is leading to the Japanese yen staying bid against the rest of the major bloc while also weighing the dollar lower as high-yield attractiveness is starting to slip away from the greenback's grasps.
