Tokyo's main index gains as Asian equities trade higher on Wall Street boost
Not much surprises here as risk sentiment remains buoyed with Asian stocks gaining following the solid performance in US stocks overnight. That said, Chinese stocks have pared most of their gains on the day now with the Shanghai Composite up only 0.4% and trading at session lows going into the final hour of trading.
Overall risk tones remain slightly more optimistic though and that should carry over to European trading. But it's best to be cautious this week as equities won't have much other support considering that a US-China trade deal is still not in sight just yet.
