No sign of Greek-style gaps in UK finances

The Office for Budget Responsibility said that public finances are in better shape than previously thought; hence the overnight rally in the pound. I know of a few big short cable positions in the market, all based on a day-of-reckoning for the Gilt market. Announcements such as this one yesterday will certainly give the bears some food for thought.
