UUP leader, Robin Swann, comments after meeting with Theresa May

May
  • Says that May spoke about putting a time limit on the Irish backstop
  • That was just one of the options raised by May during the meeting
  • Says that time limit is not the answer, because it can be extended

Swann also mentions that May was talking about looking at 'alternative arrangements', without going into details on what those are. If anything, I reckon the details probably wasn't even discussed. Doesn't look like May was lobbying anything new to Northern Irish lawmakers as we're back to talking about putting a time limit on the backstop again. How wonderful.
