Central bank to spend more focus in managing wealth fund

• Norway's Government says new committee will take decision on the key policy rate and advise on the counter-cyclical buffer
• Bank should contribute to high and stable production and employment
• Should maintain price stability and financial stability as main objective and to ensure a secure payment and settlement system
• Legislative proposal being pit forward in spring 2019
• By moving task to a separate committee the Board of the central bank will become more focused on other tasks, like managing the wealth fund.
