NZ net permanent and long-term visitors +5470 in August

Says StatsNZ:
- New Zealand had a record net gain (more arrivals than departures) of 60,300 migrants in the August 2015 year
- The annual net gain in migrants has been setting new records as it approached 60,000 over the last 13 months.

Migration to New Zealand has been cited as a key reason for property price increases, a concern of authorities (including the RBNZ). With migration numbers still high, it should maintain a bid under house prices and may be a factor in Reserve Bank of New Zealand interest rate decisions.
