Just out on the newswires now, the OECD say’s its leading indicator for its 30 member group fell (Dec: 92.9, Nov: 94.0) as did its indicators for the G7 (Germany the worst performer), China (Dec:87.6, Nov:90.1), India, Russia (Dec:86.7, Nov:90.5) and Brazil.
To put things in perspective, the indicators of most of its members have fallen to levels not seen since the oil shock all the way back in the early 1970’s.
