What's coming up in North American trade

First up today is the US Q1 current account report at the bottom of the hour. The consensus is for a deficit of $129 billion.

Next, the top global central bankers are at an ECB conference today in Sintra, Portugal. A marquee event comes at 1330 GMT (9:30 am ET) with Draghi, Powell and RBA Governor Philip Lowe participating in a policy panel.

In terms of economic data, the lone US release is existing home sales at 1400 GMT. The May report is forecast to show a rise to 5.52m from 5.46m a month earlier.

Oil is a major focus ahead of the OPEC meeting this week but today there is also the weekly US inventory report at 1430 GMT. The API report showed a bigger than expected draw.

As for me, it's great to be back from a fantastic vacation.
