The Joint Monitoring Committee (OPEC members Algeria, Kuwait and Venezuela, & non-OPEC Russia and Oman) meet Friday 22 September 2017
- While its a monitoring (of compliance with agreed to cuts) committee, discussion will not skirt possible extension &/or deepening of production cuts. Extension discussions will likely dominate.
- Its not likely agreement will be reached on any extension meeting though
- We'll have to get the next full OPEC summit (scheduled for November 30) out of the way first
