OIL - Private inventory data shows surprise build in headline crude stock

This is the private survey of oil inventory (distillates and gasoline also). The U.S. Energy Information Administration will announce official figures on (US time) Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. EDT

Reuters polling for what was expected for the headline (Crude stocks) was for a fall of 1.3 million barrels in the most recent week

• For gasoline, a larger than expected build in inventories - expected was draw of 1.2mln barrels
• Distillates expected was draw of a million barrels
