UK PM May talking to the BBC 13 July
- shed a "little tear" when she learned the result of the election exit poll
- husband Phillip told her the news, was a complete shock
- did not consider stepping down after election result
Speaking to BBC Radio 5Live she said:
"It took a few minutes for it to sink in, because we didn't see that result coming".
"My husband gave me a hug, I cried a little tear".
The prime minister said she did not watch the exit poll herself, as
"I have a little bit of superstition about things like that".
Strong and stable leadership ? Yea, right.
