Pres. Trump has signed an executive order to establish protocol of "one federal decision" for major infrastructure projects. The order is to set a two year goal for completion of the permitting process for major infrastructure projects.
The order is intended to speed up the process for pushing through major infrastructure projects that have been slowed in the past, mainly due to environmental review.
Trump has proposed leveraging 200B in govt spending into $1T via privatizing air traffic control system, strengthening rural infrastructure and repairing bridges, roads and waterways.
Trump who is at his NY residence, is expected to participate in a discussion on infrastructure and give a statement at 3:45 PM ET/1945 GMT.
