Pres. Trump says:

  • he is assigning Executive Order putting strong sanctions on Iran
  • sanctions are in response to drone shootdown
  • sanctions will target Iran's supreme leader
  • US wants Iran to stop sponsoring terrorism
  • US does not seek conflict with Iran
  • office of Iran's supreme leader will not be spared from sanctions
  • US will not allow Iran to have nuclear weapons
