The House bill ‘should’ have enough votes, according to Nunes. It will also eliminate Obamacare subsidies — BBG headlines.
Senate majority leader Reid has already shot down the House proposal but an equal risk is that Nunes is wrong and both the right and left in the House vote the bill down. It’s odd that the House wants to scale back a deal until mid-December and possibly shutdown the government over the holidays.

That’s progress and gives it a fighting chance in the Senate. The underlying trend is that the sides are slowly getting closer together.
