Momentum is swinging toward the Conservatives ahead of Thursday’s elections, A Reuters/Ipsos poll shows. There has been a 7% swing toward the Conservatives in key Labour held seats, the poll shows and suggests the Tories may be able to secure a slight majority.
The pound should find solace in the notion of potentially avoiding a hung parliament.
