Russia oil output said to be at a record high of 11.42 mil bpd so far in December
Reuters citing an unnamed sourceAnd the month isn't exactly over yet. Trying to squeeze out as much as they can ahead of the production cuts, eh? In October, they produced 11.42 mil bpd for the entire month and it was 11.37 mil bpd in November. And those figures have only grown throughout the years:
In terms of where this stands on the OPEC deal, Russia is cutting 2% from October (still the peak production on record officially), so it'll be something around ~230k bpd worth of cuts. That means they'll be producing close to their August output levels. That's hardly worth much in the bigger picture but at least it's not leading to increased production I guess.
