- The official is referring to the deal between OPEC and some non-OPEC oil producers to cut output and thus (this is the cunning plan bit) force oil prices higher
- It expires in June but there is plenty of rumour about that an extension for 6 months will be added ... currently up for negotiation, not agreed to as yet
