The ironic part in all of this is that Saudi Arabia wants Russia to do more and step up efforts to curb production in the OPEC+ deal. But with the oil market already anticipating a deal, Saudi Arabia can't afford to let this slip now or otherwise face a backlash as prices will free fall if they can't reach an agreement.
