Brussels MNI) – Greece’s European partners and the International
Monetary Fund have done their “utmost” to support it and there is no
reason to change the terms of the country’s bailout program, German
finance minister Wolfgang Schaeuble said Monday.

“This is not a question of more generosity. The problem for Greece
was to find a solution together the with ECB, the Commission and the IMF
of how Greece can – over a long period of time – return to sustainable
growth and regain access to the markets,” Schaeuble said ahead of the
Eurgroup meeting here.

Elections in Greece have not changed anything about the economic
logic policy makers applied when devising the bailout program, Schaeuble
said. The path ahead will not be easy for Greece, he added.
