Stocks have clearly picked up on the somewhat hostile tone of the Senate Banking committee in questioning Paulson and compadres. Remember folks, this is almost entirely for show. The senators look tough for the cameras but realize that have to move with dispatch of they will be blamed if he markets tank. Be not afraid of the package not passing.
The Dow is down 135 while oil has fallen below 105.00. EUR/USD is consolidating losses at 1.4645.
