Swiss National Bank on the average sight deposits for the week ending 24 November
- Domestic banks CHF 477.95 bln vs 475.15 bln prior week
Domestic deposits continue to gain more traction this week based on the numbers. Sight deposits are basically the accounts of banks that sit with the SNB and account for a major portion of liquidity within the financial system.
USD/CHF struggling to find direction so far today, now at 0.9796. Meanwhile, EUR/CHF has tailed off a little failing to break above 1.1700 - now trading at 1.1689.
