UK - RICS House Price Balance for April, +22 (equal to the previous and lowest since September 2016)
- expected 20%, prior 22%

For the next three months:
- A fall to +4 from +11
- Lowest reading since July 2016 (... but prices still expected to rise)
Comments from RICS:
- "Recent and forthcoming tax changes (are) having a material impact on transaction levels, particularly at higher price points. Uncertainty relating to the forthcoming general election is also highlighted by some respondents as a reason for inertia"
- "An acute shortage of stock remains a key factor underpinning prices"
