The S&P 500 limped, nay crawled, into the weekend, down 22 points to 1906.
The August low of 1904 held but it was the lowest close since May 23 and the Dow erased its gains for the year.
It was also the worst two-day decline (3.2%) since May 2013.

Update: S&P 500 futures kept selling off right into the close, 15 minutes later. They ended down 31.55 points to 1893 but still above the August intraday lows.
