S&P 500 higher to start a new week
I'm not sure what's behind the latest pop in the US dollar. USD/JPY climbed to 111.15 from as low as 110.88.
Shares of Amazon are higher today but ShopperTrak is out with a report saying traffic at physical stores was down 1% this year.
The S&P 500 hit a fresh record at 2606, up 4 points shortly after the open.
Data on new home sales is due up next.
