As if we needed reminding that the world of politics is full of deceit, vested interest and Machiavellian design ( see Adam’s previous post ) up pops a book this week by a former UK Labour party spin doctor.
There’s been plenty of coverage in the UK on this, and much of what Damian McBride felt a need to confess overshadowed the Labour Party annual conference.
I had quite a few quid at very good odds years ago on a bet that said Gordon Brown would get found out before he finally got to achieve his desperate ambition to be PM.
Ok, so I lost that particular bet. But hey, I wasn’t far away from cashing in and I tore up my betting slip with head held high.
