The weakest currency is the CHF. SNBs Pres. Jordan reiterated yesterday that the Swiss National Bank can take measures to supplement its cap on the franc immediately should steps be warranted. He added, ” We will continue to defend the minimum exchange rate with utmost determination”

Stocks and Bonds
The major stock markets are rebounding in trading today (and in US pre-market trading) with the exception of the Nikkei which fell in reaction to comments from Abe that the government is concerned about the recent weakness of the JPY.
Bond yields remain steady and off the high levels reached last week.
