I hardly ever attempt this but I know there are plenty of retail traders that do.
While it can be rather rewarding if your platform gives you a good price fill, serious slippage/gapping to give you an entry point 30/40 or more points away seriously questions the strategy…I have just been talking to a couple of people who just suffered exactly that !
They tried to sell on a ‘stop basis’ at 0.9598 and got filled at 0.9560…..be warned !
