Bust out the charts, wipe off your crystal ball, and check the leaves in the bottom of your tea. What we are looking for is the pair that moves the most pips in the coming week. Adam reports on the biggest percentage move, but we are looking for pip count on this one. Since many people may choose the same pair, we are looking for the correct pair and the one who gets the closest to total pips moved up or down at the close on Friday. Note: you must specify + or – no playing the field. The contest is just for glory and bragging rights. Originally I wanted to make this open to all pairs, but not all brokers offer the same pairs, close at the same time, etc. So in the interest of keeping it fair (and not too much work for me) we will limit this to the “majors”. Entries must be received before the Auckland open on their Monday (i. e., 9:00 NZDT/20:00 GMT). As always reasons for your pick and/or charts encouraged. Friday close below:

I might as well take a shot at this one. Given how well bid the GBP had been, I am looking for a further pull back. So I say GBP/USD -200. Thanks Thelma for the suggestion.
