A light day for data
As is always the case, the days following the jobs report can be a little lacking in data, and today's no exception.
Employment trends and the labour market conditions index is about as good as it gets until US consumer credit numbers show how deeper in debt US borrowers are getting. That's not until 20.00 GMT.
In between those we have a couple of Fed speakers. Eric Rosengren speaks at the annual Connecticut Business and Industry summit at 14.00 GMT. Dennis Lockhart speaks at the Atlanta Rotary CLub where he'll give an annual forecast. That's at 19.00 GMT.
Aside from an ECB QE update and BOC loan officer survey, it's pretty bland.
At least we've still got the 20k Dow thing to watch again.
