There’s nothing like an economist saying he has no idea what’s going on in the economy but continues to confidently predict a pickup.
I give you BTMU economist Chris Rupkey saying 3% GDP growth is coming for the remainder of the year, in comments to Bloomberg:
“Whatever went wrong in the 1Q is not going to be repeated for the rest of the year.”
Translation: I have no idea what’s going on or what happened but you should buy stocks in your BTMU account.
