I used to watch a gameshow called The Golden Shot which featured a guy called Bernie The Bolt. Part of the show was when contestents had to direct a blindfolded chap to shoot a crossbow, needing to hit a target in an apple to win a prize. The guy who loaded the crossbow was called Bernie the bolt.

I always remember the directions “up a bit, down a bit, left a bit, right a bit.” That’s what this market reminds me of, up a bit, down a bit……see what i mean?

Early North American traders seem to be embracing the USD, with EUR/USD and GBP/USD both being knocked lower. But having said that, we’re only going back to levels no far from where Europe opened.

EUR/USD sits at 1.3285, technical support at 1.3245/50. Cable sits at 1.5035, technical supports 1.5025/30 and 1.4985/90.
