Daily thread to exchange ideas and to share your thoughts
Good day, everyone! Hope you're all doing well as we get things going here in European trading. It's central bank bonanza in trading today with the CBRT, BOE, and ECB lined up to provide some good action later on.
Apart from that, there is improved risk sentiment in Asian equities that has helped yen pairs gain following positive developments in the US-China trade rhetoric. However, European investors are not exactly convinced still.
Besides that, the swissie is seeing some early morning bids as well alongside the dollar after Italy's economy minister Tria is reported to threaten to resign over budget disputes. That has led to Italian bond yields opening with a gap higher to begin the day. 2-year yields are up 4 bps to 0.84% in early trades.
Plenty more still to come on the day. What are your views on the market right now? Share your thoughts/ideas with the rest of the ForexLive community here.
