Daily thread to exchange ideas and to share your thoughts
Happy Monday, everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend and that you're ready to get the new week started~
It's been a quiet start to proceedings so far with little action of note across the board as ranges remain relatively narrow. But things are expected to pick up during the week as major market themes are still at play:
- Turkey situation still ongoing, (real) shots fired this morning
- Central bankers return from their summer break, Powell to appear on Friday
- How will European bank stocks react to Turkey's credit rating cut?
- US-China trade talks to begin, expectations are low so any room for upside surprise?
- NAFTA talks/meetings continue to show progress, positive developments to come?
