Daily thread to exchange ideas and to share your thoughts
Good day, everyone! Hope you're all doing well as we get things going here on the session. It's been a quiet one in terms of headlines but we're seeing decent moves in the currencies space with the dollar holding its own against the rest of the major bloc.
Equities/Risk sentiment remains flat for the most part but the aussie and kiwi are on the back foot after weaker Chinese data from Asian trading. USD/JPY is still contending with the 112.00 handle once again with the euro and pound a little weaker against the greenback to start the morning.
We're going to have some data releases to come in the next few hours but I wouldn't expect those to shake up the landscape all too much. I reckon the theme here will carry forward up until North American trading later with opportunities set to be rather limited if you're looking to enter now.
