Daily thread to exchange ideas and to share your thoughts

Good day, everyone! Hope you're all doing well as we get things going here in European trading. It's been a quiet start so far with markets still being kept on the edge of their seats awaiting a possible tariffs announcement by Trump on China, and now we even have the US jobs report to add to the wait.

The yen leads the charge on the day as Trump is reportedly weighing a potential trade spat with Japan, while the aussie is lagging behind as trade tensions continue to weigh on sentiment dragging the currency lower - AUD/JPY touched its lowest levels in almost two years as a result.

What are your views on the market right now? Any thoughts on the US payrolls that is to come later in the day? Share your thoughts/ideas with the rest of the ForexLive community here.
