What's on the agenda next

A busy day of economic data plus an all-star central banking panel will keep market participants on their toes Wednesday.

The main event of the day comes at 1330 GMT (9:30 am ET) when the European Central Bank hosts a 'policy panel' on central banking. The four people on the panel are Draghi, Kuroda, Carney and Poloz so it will be closely watched in a market that's already skittish.

At 1400 GMT, the May report on pending home sales is scheduled for release. The consensus is for a 1.0% rise.

Other events on the calendar include oil inventories, a 7-year auction and comments from the BOC's Patterson.
